Dr. Angelica, ND is an evidence-based Naturopathic Doctor and integrative family healthcare provider with a special focus in women’s health and fertility. Dr. Angelica, ND obtained her Doctor of Naturopathy degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto where she was a scholarship-recipient and continues to work as a Teaching Assistant. Prior to this, she attended the University of Toronto where she received an Honours Bachelor of Science with Distinction. Currently, she is registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO) and is a proud member of both the Canadian and Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors. Nearly a decade ago Dr. Angelica, ND travelled to Costa Rica with the Foundation for the International Medical Relief of Children before her plans to apply to medical school. There she was exposed to conventional medical treatments but also the use nutrition, herbs, and other natural-based therapies. This not only sparked her interest in naturopathic medicine but it propelled her career towards pediatric and reproductive care. Her goal when working with patients is to uncover the factors contributing to disease and to create realistic, affordable, long-term solutions. Dr. Angelica, ND achieves this through comprehensive testing, physical examination, and in-depth consultations designed to give patients the tools to feel better, sooner. Treatments may include the issue of acupuncture (including fertility acupuncture), botanical teas or tinctures, supplements, nutrition, lifestyle counselling and more. Some of the conditions she enjoys treating include PCOS, endometriosis, PMS/PMDD, fibroids, anxiety/low mood, lactation concerns, as well as chronic/autoimmune disease. In children specifically she can help improve digestion, eczema, sleep, allergies, and recurrent infections among other concerns.
