Born and raised in Victoria, British Columbia, Jamie completed his Bachelor’s of Kinesiology at Camosun College before travelling to the UK, where he completed his Master’s of Physiotherapy with Distinction. Having recently returned to Victoria, Jamie is currently preparing to write his Physiotherapy licensing exam. Jamie has experience working with a diverse range of clients across musculoskeletal rehabilitation, sport-specific rehabilitation, care of older adults, and treatment of neurological conditions. These experiences have shaped his patient-centred approach, with an emphasis on understanding each individual’s goals and using exercise, movement, and education to build confidence, restore function, and support a return to meaningful activities. Jamie believes that rehabilitation should be collaborative and tailored to each person, with strategies that can be incorporated into everyday life. Jamie has a particular interest in vestibular rehabilitation and concussion management and is passionate about continuing to expand his knowledge and clinical skills in these areas. He enjoys working with clients to better understand their symptoms, build confidence in movement, and develop practical strategies to support their recovery. Jamie has always embraced an active lifestyle and his passion for that was a major influence in his decision to pursue physiotherapy. Outside the clinic, Jamie continues to enjoy playing soccer, running, hiking, water sports, and backpacking
