Allan is an experienced trilingual physiotherapist with a Master’s of Applied Science in Physical Therapy from McGill University and an Honours Bachelor in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa. From Shanghai, China, but having grown up in the National Capital Region, Allan understands that activity can vary depending on personal, cultural, and socio-economic factors. He thus believes that building physical prowess begins with appreciating the human body’s robust nature. Using individual goals and motivations, he incorporates them into a plan, allowing integration of activity for lifelong vitality. He uses a biopsychosocial analytical approach in treating the whole person in front of him, rather than the condition alone. Allan has experience in acute care in hospitals, geriatric rehabilitation, but is most passionate about orthopedic musculoskeletal care. He values lifelong learning and has completed courses including Levels 1 & 2 of the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Program from the Orthopedic Division of CPA, Concussion Management Levels 1 & 2, and Functional Dry Needling. Outside of the clinic, Allan loves eclectic music & food, time with his wife & dog, and stays active by strength training & playing basketball. This will allow time for the Physiotherapist to assess and explain your diagnosis and plan, as well as provide a treatment. All of our assessments and treatments are carried out in private rooms to ensure your comfort.
