Kushal Thind is a Registered Massage Therapist and a graduate of the Pacific Coastal College of Massage Therapy. She is a Certified Dr. Vodder Therapist, having completed her specialized training at the Dr. Vodder International School of Manual Lymph Drainage and Combined Decongestive Therapy. Kushal has completed Level 1 and Level 3 Dr. Vodder certification, focusing on lymphatic and edema management. Her advanced training includes the assessment and treatment of lymphedema, lipedema, post‑surgical swelling, chronic edema, and other lymphatic‑related conditions, including complex edema presentations. Kushal’s Dr. Vodder certification reflects internationally recognized standards in manual lymphatic therapy and CDT care. Kushal is particularly passionate about supporting individuals navigating cancer treatment and recovery, with a growing focus on oncology care and cancer‑related lymphedema. She understands the physical and emotional challenges associated with swelling, tissue changes, and recovery and strives to provide compassionate, evidence‑informed care tailored to each stage of healing. Her treatment approach combines therapeutic massage with specialized Dr. Vodder lymphatic techniques to help reduce swelling, improve comfort and mobility, support the body’s natural healing processes, and enhance quality of life. A 60 min massage therapy appointment that includes a full assessment and interview as well as home-care and treatment planning. Hands-on time will be at least 45 minutes.

Lymphatic Drainage

MLD (Manual Lymphatic Drainage) - Initial - 75 min

This 75‑minute MLD appointment includes a full assessment and health interview, hands‑on treatment, home‑care recommendations, and treatment planning. Hands‑on treatment time is a minimum of 50 minutes. Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete paperwork, or ensure all intake forms are completed in advance. Important booking information: *All intake forms must be completed at least 48 hours prior to your appointment to allow for review and confirmation that treatment is safe.* Appointments may be rescheduled if forms are not completed on time. Contraindications / clearance required: MLD may not be appropriate for clients with congestive heart failure, cellulitis, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), active bacterial or viral infections, or arterial insufficiency (physician note required). Clients under 14 and post‑natal clients require a physician note. Post‑orthopedic surgery MLD is not available until June. Burns, ulcers, and wounds may be treated if no active infection is present.
