Dr. Alexandra McMillan, DC, BKin “My goal is simple: to help you feel better, move better, and live the life that matters most to you.” With a deep passion for helping others feel at home in their bodies, Dr. McMillan brings a holistic, patient-centered approach to chiropractic care. She holds a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and a Bachelor or Kinesiology degree from the University of the Fraser Valley. Her practice is grounded in movement science and enriched by over 200 hours of yoga teacher training. She treats conditions throughout the entire body—not just the spine—guided by a comprehensive understanding of how the body moves and functions as a whole. Whether your goal is to manage pain, improve function, or simply move through life with greater ease, Dr. McMillan works collaboratively with each patient to create a management plan tailored to their unique goals and lifestyle. While chiropractic care is often associated with the spine, she treats neuromusculoskeletal conditions throughout the entire body—including the shoulders, hips, knees, and more—using a combination of hands-on techniques, movement-based therapy, and patient education to support lasting well-being. She has a special interest in women’s health across the lifespan, as well as in supporting individuals living with chronic or persistent pain. Her care is inclusive and welcoming to all. She takes the time to listen deeply and understand the full picture of each patient’s condition—addressing the root cause, not just the symptoms, and helping patients feel truly seen and supported. She’s passionate about helping people reconnect with their bodies, not just to relieve pain—but to restore confidence, movement, and the ability to live a full, meaningful life. Outside the clinic, you’ll often find her with a good book, hiking coastal trails, swimming in the ocean, or practicing yoga—activities that fuel her appreciation for the body’s natural resilience and ability to heal. Dr. McMillan welcomes patients of all ages, backgrounds, and bodies. She’s here to support you in feeling your best—so you can return to the life and activities that matter most to you. Dr. McMillan is a member in good standing with the Canadian Chiropractic Association, the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC, the BC Chiropractic Association, and the College of Chiropractors of BC.
