She uses acupuncture with adjunct therapies to treat a spectrum of conditions. She is especially passionate about women’s health & those who have experienced trauma, & all the body-wide symptoms that accompany it. Her focus is on gynecological concerns, such as PCOS & menopause, stress & mental health, fatigue, digestive disorders, & chronic pain. And her treatments are comprehensive; they include TCM dietary recommendations, bodywork modalities such as gua sha, tui na, & cupping. Rubinah is a former high school teacher. She loves to crochet, practice meditation, & experiment in the kitchen. She also enjoys nature walks with her husband & adventurous cats, Simsim & Willow. ACUPUNCTURE INITIAL ASSESSMENT & TREATMENT

This service includes: 1) A comprehensive 20-30-min assessment of health history taking, physical examination, such as taking your pulse & examining your tongue, & an explanation of TCM. ***If this is your first time seeing us for acupuncture, you will receive an online intake form. Please take the time to fill it in well ahead of your appointment! We want to be able to spend as much time as possible treating you. 2) A 20-min acupuncture treatment or longer. 3) Eastern bodywork (cupping, gua sha, & tui na massage) may be performed concurrently with acupuncture. 4) Personalized guidelines about TCM nutrition, & TCM health & wellness. 5) A TCM-based diagnosis & an individualized treatment plan.
