Brett Kurio MScPT; SFMA Level 1 and 2 Certified; Functional Dry needling Level 1 and 2; Certified in Concussion Management; Certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation I was born and raised in a small town in southern Alberta. Growing up I played any sport had the chance to try and always had an interest in the human body. When I finished high school I moved to Lethbridge and completed my Bachelors degree in Kinesiology from the University of Lethbridge. Soon after I began my journey into physiotherapy at the University of Alberta and finished my Masters degree in Physiotherapy in 2013. I have been working in private practice since finishing school and have been able to complete many continuing education courses. My treatment style hast transitioned into a mixture of manual therapy techniques and corrective exercises. Over the years I have developed a passion for treating vestibular patients and look to further my knowledge in this area. What I enjoy most about physiotherapy is that I have the skills and knowledge to help people live healthier lives and achieve their goals. When I’m not working I enjoy competing in triathlons, going to the gym, golfing, hiking, snowboarding, and being a new father.
