My Therapeutic career began with Reiki in 2006. I studied Reiki levels I and II under Reiki Master/Teacher Linda Jean Isele in North Brunswick, NJ. I have my sights set on Master level (which is only one step away). I witnessed profound changes in the lives of the people that I had the honor to work with and wanted to help even more. I then obtained certification as a Direct Support Professional, teaching individuals with mental and physical handicaps how to live independently in their own homes, how to get involved in the community, and supporting them in becoming strong self-advocates. I also worked with many of the same consumers as a certified Home Health Aide. In 2011, I decided to add more therapeutic tools to my toolbox and completed 650hrs of Massage Therapy at The Institute of Therapeutic Massage and Wellness in Davenport, IA, where I also obtained certification in Si Bonita Facassage . I also have studied Advanced Anterior and Posterior Neck techniques, Whiplash , TMJ/TMJD , Sports Massage , Advanced Cupping Massage , Table Thai , Aromatherapy, Advanced Lymphatic Drainage, Human Anatomy: Musculoskeletal Cases with HarvardX, Shoulder Anatomy and Common Injuries with Yale/EdX, and more! Family is a big part of my life. I have a husband, two boys (13, 5), and a pup that keep us pretty busy! Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is also important to me and I enjoy finding new and creative ways to do just that! También hablo Español!

Massage Therapy
New PatientLicensedGeneral

This session begins with some time to communicate with the therapist your goals, thoroughly describe any aches/pains/injuries/etc, and create a plan for the session. The therapist will apply a diverse skillset to help achieve those goals, such as cupping, lymphatic drainage, trigger point therapy, stretching, myofascial alignment techniques, and more. After the session, the therapist will take a few more minutes to go over findings, suggestions, and creating/going over a plan for future visits.

Lymphatic Drainage

Lymphatic Drainage
New PatientGeneral

A very gentle, light massage that helps drain fluid. The lymphatic system is part of your immune system and cleans toxins, proteins, viruses, and dead cells about 20 times faster than the body is able to do on its own. This technique is also recommended after certain types of surgery, such as plastic surgery, to help with swelling and healing. Amber has advanced training in lymphatic drainage and has specific training for post-plastic surgery lymphatic drainage with over 4 years experience.
