Adrian Matis, RMT is a Registered Massage Therapist with a thoughtful, assessment-driven approach focused on understanding the root of the issue before beginning treatment. He works with patients experiencing chronic pain, headaches, postural concerns, injury recovery, and stress-related tension using techniques such as myofascial release, deep tissue therapy, trigger point work, joint play, and relaxation massage. Adrian has completed post-graduate training in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) through Pro HealthSys with Dr. Nikita Vizniak, adding precision to his ability to detect and address soft tissue restrictions and fascial dysfunction. He has also completed Integrated Treatment of the Cervical Spine and Shoulder, and Integrated Treatment of the Forearm and Hand, giving him a targeted, evidence-informed approach to two of the most common areas his patients struggle with. His treatments are tailored to each individual, with a clear plan designed to improve function, reduce discomfort, and support long-term results. Originally trained as a carpenter, Adrian experienced firsthand the physical demands of hands-on work, which led him to pursue a career in massage therapy. That background gives him a practical understanding of how pain and movement limitations impact daily life — something his patients often appreciate. As a Kelowna local, Adrian is proud to care for members of his own community. He takes the time to listen, assess thoroughly, and adjust each treatment to what your body needs that day. Outside the clinic, you will often find him enjoying the outdoors fly fishing, cycling, or hiking or spending time with family and friends. Registered with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC).
**New Patients:** Please book either 45 or 60 minutes for your first visit as your therapist needs adequate time to go over your full health history and do an assessment. This will allow enough time for hands on treatment as well.
