We’re excited to share some great news—Chris Donnelly is back! After working with Coastal for five years (2019–2024), Chris took a 20-month semi-retirement and is now returning, ready to support your health and wellness needs once again at the Bedford clinic, starting Monday, September 22. Chris is very treatment-oriented and focuses on finding the root cause of dysfunction or pain. His practice centers around Integrated Fascial Techniques (IFT), which include Myofascial, Visceral, Cranial Sacral, and more. Since 2010, Chris has studied extensively under his mentor and friend Natale Rao, completing two 3-year IFT series. Because of this training, his treatments are not your typical massage therapy sessions. He doesn’t use oils or lotions, and you may be up and down off the table as he tests and re-tests to pinpoint the root of the issue. For your comfort, clients remain partially—sometimes fully—clothed throughout treatments, and Chris will explain this in detail during your first appointment. Chris can help with acute and chronic injuries, digestive issues, women’s health, musculoskeletal dysfunction, post-concussion syndrome, and more. His techniques combine deep fascial release with approaches most similar to osteopathy. He’s passionate about helping people recover quickly, regain strength, and stay healthy. Chris also believes in finding the right therapy for each client—even if that means a different approach, RMT, or therapy altogether. Whether you’re looking for a fresh perspective on a long-standing issue or support for a new one, Chris is ready to help. Chris graduated in 2010 from the 3,000-hour, 3-year Massage Therapy program at Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in Vernon, BC. After passing his provincial board exams with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia, he began a mobile massage therapy practice and later joined Okanagan Health and Performance in Kelowna. From 2014 to 2018, he owned and operated West Kelowna Massage Therapy before selling the practice and moving with his family to Nova Scotia, where he is now a proud member of MTANS. Chris grew up on Vancouver Island and has lived and traveled throughout Europe and China. He spent 15 years in BC’s interior, where he met and married his wife Katy. Together, they have four amazing children.
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on treatment using subtle techniques to assess and support the craniosacral system, including the skull, spine, membranes, and surrounding structures. It aims to promote balance, relaxation, and improved function throughout the body. It may help support individuals experiencing headaches, migraines, concussion recovery, chronic pain, stress and tension, TMJ concerns, nervous system regulation, and other conditions.
