Elizabeth Scarth is a Registered Physiotherapist with a special interest in helping active adults maintain lifelong movement and wellness. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University, as well as a Master of Education from Acadia University. Her practice emphasizes evidence-informed, patient-centred care, particularly for individuals who lead active lifestyles and are motivated to return to the activities they enjoy. Elizabeth has extensive experience treating musculoskeletal conditions and works with a broad spectrum of patients—from competitive athletes to weekend warriors and active older adults who prioritize healthy aging. She believes that movement is medicine and is committed to empowering patients to take an active role in their recovery and performance. Elizabeth is also passionate about concussion prevention and management. This has led her to pursue advanced training as a Certified Complete Concussion Management Provider. In addition to clinical practice, Elizabeth has a keen interest in education and serves as a Teaching Assistant and guest lecturer at the Dalhousie School of Physiotherapy and the School of Health and Human Performance. Elizabeth brings a strong foundation in education and a passion for lifelong learning to her work, combining clinical skill with an approachable, supportive style that resonates with patients who are motivated to move well and age well.
