Rachel Day is a registered physiotherapist originally from rural Newfoundland. Born and raised in Garnish, Rachel was exposed to the value of physiotherapy from her experience growing up with sports such as hockey, soccer, golf, and running. Rachel grew a passion in helping others with their rehabilitation and getting them back to doing the things they love, the same way her previous physiotherapists have helped her. After completing her undergraduate degree in a Bachelor of Kinesiology (B.Kin) at Memorial University in 2023, Rachel moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia, where she completed her Master’s in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University. Throughout her studies, Rachel developed a passion for pelvic health, as she recognized the growing need for support in women’s health. Since graduating in 2025, Rachel has moved back to her home province and completed continuing education courses specializing in pelvic health. She has completed both Level 1: “The Physical Therapy Approach for Anyone Experiencing Urinary Incontinence “and Level 2: “The Role of Physiotherapy in the Treatment of Anyone Experiencing Pelvic Pain Through a Trauma Informed Lens” from Pelvic Health Solutions. Rachel has experience in treating a vast multitude of orthopaedic conditions and continues to further her education and stay up to date on best-evidence practice. She is dedicated towards helping people enhance their quality of life and get them back to the things that they enjoy. Outside the clinic, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, fiancé and her ragdoll cat Junie. She can also be found golfing, walking, running, or building LEGOs in her spare time.
