A 2019 graduate from the University of Western States, Eva Gifford received her Doctorate of Chiropractic magna cum laude. She holds a BSc. in Kinesiology from the University of Victoria. Eva’s approach to modern chiropractic is hands-on with a focus on exercise and home care. She is trained in Active Release Techniques, instrument assisted soft-tissue manipulation (IASTM), cupping, movement assessment, dynamic neuromuscular stabilization (DNS), running gait analysis and more. Eva enjoys working with a variety of patient populations ranging from chronic pain to acute athletic injuries. Chiropractors are trained to treat the whole body, much like physical therapists. Appointments with Eva can be focused solely on exercise prescription and do not need to include joint manipulation. A self coined type-2 fun lover, Eva has a passion for moving in the mountains and being outdoors. She hopes to extend that love of the outdoors into her clinical practice to help her clients get back to doing what they love. She has a background in personal training, run coaching and exercise prescription.
