Growing up in Ladner, and now having put down roots with his family in Tsawwassen, Tyson developed a love for the variety of activities available to those of us who call the lower mainland home. With his early years marked by snowboarding and volleyball – and later endeavors leading him to try everything from mountain biking and surfing to golf and hockey (admittedly still smoothing out some pretty rough edges) – he knows how central an active lifestyle is to the identity of the west coast. Having graduated from UBC with his Bachelor of Kinesiology and Master of Physical Therapy and pursued further education and certifications in athletic and vestibular rehab, Tyson now enjoys incorporating the latest approaches and technologies to optimize recovery and performance in a wide variety of clients. Whether you’re a high-level athlete looking to return to competition after an ACL repair, or a tenured local wanting to keep up your daily walks along Centennial Beach – his aim is not to simply return you to your baseline, but to help you reach your own personal goals. Tyson prides himself on being approachable and practical in the physio services he provides in the clinic, and his hope is for you to leave with not only the confidence in understanding what to do, but why you’re doing it.
