Amy Gao is a physiotherapist who obtained her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. She is a strong advocate for evidence-informed treatments in helping clients address the root causes of symptoms and better understanding their bodies. She has obtained further training in pelvic health, chronic pain, acupuncture and dry needling techniques. Amy has a special interest in treating shoulder, low back, knee , and pelvic floor conditions. She also enjoys working with runners and sports injuries, focusing on recovery, performance, and injury prevention. As a pelvic health physiotherapist, Amy uses a trauma-informed, whole-body approach to support individuals through all life stages, including pre- and post-natal care. She treats a wide range of uro-genital conditions, including incontinence, prolapse, and pelvic pain. Her treatment approach combines manual therapy, dry needling, exercise, and education to deliver personalized care and empower clients in their recovery. Outside of the clinic, Amy enjoys playing volleyball, running, and trying out food spots in the city.
