Charlene is a graduate of Eastern Academy’s Massage Therapy program and has been practicing for three years now. She has always had a passion for fitness and active living. She has a background in personal and group fitness training and is a former varsity and All Canadian soccer player. Since leaving school Charlene has completed additional training in cupping, gua sha, K-taping and manuel techniques for the treatment of the shoulder and hip. Prior to studying massage therapy Charlene spent a decade working in the RCMP and has lived in several Provinces across Canada between her employment, studies and soccer. Charlene has a young and growing family. In her spare time she can be found running the beautiful trails around town and the odd road race. Her favourite is Cape to Cabot. Charlene sees massage therapy as a tool to help clients feel the best that they can so they can keep enjoying the things they are used to doing…and even some things they never thought that they would!
