Jake is an OSTCAN-certified Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and a graduate of the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, where he completed four years of rigorous training in anatomy, physiology, classical osteopathic principles, and hands-on clinical care. As a classically trained manual osteopath, Jake approaches the body as a whole, continuous and integrated mechanical system. His work is grounded in a simple idea: help the body function the way it was designed to — without excessive force or guesswork. By carefully observing how each person’s body moves and holds tension, he applies a gentle, precise approach aimed at restoring structure and motion where they have been lost. Jake believes that every symptom reflects an underlying pattern in the body’s structure and mechanics. His role is to listen to the body, identify those patterns, and address problems at their source whenever possible. No two treatments are the same, and nothing is done without a clear clinical reason. Each session is fully individualized, moment-to-moment, based on what the body presents. His goal is to help people move more freely, feel more resilient, and return to the activities they love with greater ease and confidence. Jake truly loves what he does and feels privileged to support people in their health and recovery. Outside the clinic, he enjoys strength training, spending time outdoors with his family, and eating good food. ”
