Brent graduated from the University of Alberta in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. He went immediately into private practice where he has gathered over 30 years of experience treating a multitude of orthopedic injuries and conditions including sprains and strains, fractures, pre and post operative conditions, motor vehicle accidents, acute and chronic pain, plantar fasciitis as well as muscle and tendon issues. He also has experience in treating headaches and vestibular disorders. As a big pursuer of knowledge he has taken multiple courses in joint and soft tissue mobilization and manipulation throughout his career. He continues to engage in current research and new treatment techniques for all areas of the body as he enjoys having the variety in his caseload. He loves the challenge of determining not only what the injury is but why it happened to begin with and how to prevent it from reoccurring through exercises and education. In his leisure time he has always been active mostly with cycling. Post graduation he was involved in co-ed slowpitch and volleyball and then moved on to triathlons having completed multiple full and half Ironman races. From there he focused more on long distance running completing multiple full and half marathons. Currently he still enjoys running along with his biggest passion of mountain biking.
