Barbara Wilkinson (she/they) is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated in 2010 from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria and takes a special interest in treating folks with headaches, migraines, TMJ issues, fibromyalgia, and chronic pain using a combination of Myofascial stretching, Swedish massage, Osteopathic techniques, dermo neuro modulation theory and over a decade of experience to support you in reaching your treatment goals. Treatments with Barbara are usually more gentle and nervous system focused, giving you a chance to relax before getting into more specific work tailored to your needs. When Barbara isn’t at the clinic they’re usually baking treats for friends, designing and sewing clothes and costumes, or spending quality time with their partner.
During your first appointment, the hands-on portion of the massage will likely be closer to 45-50 minutes. This allows the RMT time to review your health history, assess your areas of concern, develop a treatment plan, obtain your consent, and allow time for reassessment and homecare recommendations at the end of the session.
