Amanda has been working in natural healthcare for over 15 years. She is a certified Holistic Nutritionist, Colon Hydrotherapist, Doula and Lymphatic Massage Therapist. Her Brazilian Lymphatic Massage technique combines fast-paced movements and specialized wooden tools to stimulate lymph flow. This unique approach improves circulation, loosens fascia, reduces water retention and lactic acid build up, and supports the body's natural detoxification. The treatment not only helps sculpt the body but also leaves clients feeling lighter, refreshed and revitalized.
Massage
60-minute Lymphatic Massage. Various tools are used throughout the massage. The massage works from the head to the toes. The massage follows the natural structure of the lymphatic system, starting at the neck and clavicle and working eventually to the toes. All along the way, there are moments of focus on the areas where the lymph nodes are concentrated, namely; armpits, neck, abdomen, groin and back of the knees. All the movement is an upward motion to direct the fluid up to the nearest lymph nodes. The client starts on their back, turns onto each side, then face down and finally finishes on their back again. It is a combination of light pressure, quick rhythmic motions and stimulating wringing techniques on the skin.
