Practicing since 2013, Donna Padua is a Registered Massage Therapist with a focus on evidence-informed, trauma-sensitive care. A graduate of Humber College’s Massage Therapy program (Honours), she contributed to research exploring fibromyalgia pain and sleep as well as cancer-related pain, experiences that deepened her understanding of how complex pain conditions affect the body and nervous system. Donna is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and the Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of Ontario (RMTAO). Her clinical background spans motor vehicle and workplace injury rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and five years of clinic ownership, providing her with a strong foundation in both hands-on treatment and collaborative care planning. Her approach is patient-centered and grounded in the belief that effective treatment supports the whole person — addressing the physical body while encouraging relaxation, nervous system balance, and improved body awareness. Sessions may integrate: Cupping therapy to release fascial tension and improve mobility Vodder Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Level 1) for lymphatic health, post-surgical recovery, and immune support Chi Nei Tsang (CNT), a gentle abdominal therapy that works with the visceral structures to support digestion, circulation, and autonomic balance Gentle stretches — both passive and active — to enhance mobility, flexibility, and functional movement Remedial exercises to improve strength, posture, and recovery between treatments Donna’s trauma-informed practice prioritizes safety, trust, and patient autonomy. She works collaboratively with each individual to create treatments that respect boundaries, support regulation, and promote sustainable recovery. Outside her clinical work, Donna has practiced Raja Yoga meditation from 2005 to 2012, cultivating mindfulness and mental clarity that inform her calm, focused therapeutic approach. A long-time fitness enthusiast, she maintains a personal interest in movement, body mechanics, and long-term wellness.
