Brandy believes that Massage therapy is a necessary component to the mind-body connection, preventive health, and a useful modality in the healing arts. Through massage therapy she feels one can create a sense of balance in their health. Brandy incorporates many different massage modalities in her sessions based on her clients needs. Some modalities include Myofascial release, Swedish, Prenatal, NMT, Polarity, Cranial-sacral, and Reflexology. Her forte is energy work, specifically Reiki. She utilizes specific Eastern techniques in a holistic approach to self-care. It is Brandys hope that she can provide you with an experience of healing when suffering from dis-ease or discomfort. She exudes positive energy and a willingness to learn and teach the many applications of massage therapy.
Massage Therapy
Deep Tissue Massage targets the deeper layers of muscle and fascia to release long?standing tension. Therapists apply slower, deeper pressure to help break up adhesions and improve movement. Its more intensive, but should not be painful. Benefits include relief from chronic pain, headaches, and improved mobility and injury rehabilitation.
Reflexology
Reflexology is a type of bodywork that focuses on applying pressure to the specific nerve zones in your feet. Unlike other foot massages that intend to mostly relieve tension in the feet themselves, reflexology is a complementary therapy that aims to harmonize your body. According to reflexology, every part of the human body is mapped into your feet. Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions such as allergies, headaches, and depression.
