Osteopathy
Manual Osteopathic Therapy involves the treatment of the body as a single unit via gentle and non-invasive manipulation and corrections to tissues of the body. Manual Osteopathy assists the innate healing ability of the body by addressing the root of the problem with a variety of modalities. Modalities utilized by Manual Osteopaths include Osteoarticulation, Myofascial Remodelling, Visceral Manipulation, Craniosacral and Manual Lymphatic Drainage. The main goal is to bring the body back to its natural balance by improving and restoring functions of structure, musculature, viscera, fluid dynamics and emotional and stress regulation. Manual Osteopaths listen to the patient and the patient’s body by thoroughly assessing and examining all aspects of health. This includes a deep dive on lifestyle, habits, digestive health, and sleep patterns. A curated treatment plan is then formulated to facilitate rebalance. Manual Osteopathy may help with the following: · Acute and chronic pain · Postural imbalances · Reduced joint motion · Headaches and migraines · Digestive health · TMD · Mental-emotional health · Insomnia · Fatigue · Stress management and reduction · Overall wellness
