Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Physical Education from Wilfrid Laurier University (2011) and a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto (2013). Rachel returned to Centre Wellington, where she grew up, to bring together her passion for physical activity and her dedication to help others reach their rehabilitation goals. Rachel continued to further her expertise in orthopaedics by pursuing courses in Manual Therapy and successfully completed the Intermediate Practical Exam through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She has also completed various other courses in concussion management, vestibular rehabilitation, non-internal pelvic health, and osteoporosis management. Rachel is also BoneFit trained through Osteoporosis Canada. In 2018, Rachel discovered a personal love for Pilates and decided to pursue training to become a certified Pilates instructor. She is a Body Harmonics Pilates Mat and Reformer Instructor and highly enjoys teaching group classes and private/semi private sessions. Through her Pilates training and her own experiences with pregnancy and post-partum rehabilitation, she has taken a special interest in this population. She has a passion for helping others navigate the post-partum journey and return to activity with confidence. Rachel has taken a number of courses to successfully complete her Pre-Post Natal Conditioning Specialization through Body Harmonics.
