A graduate from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy’s 3000 hour diploma program, Christin has worked in a variety of multi-disciplinary clinics in both British Columbia and Ontario, and has been a member of the therapy team at Continuum Fitness since 2019. Incorporating manual techniques with movement testing and retraining, Christin helps patients identify and understand issues, control movement, and progress towards optimal form and function. Christin is a strong believer in a mutli-disciplinary approach and works closely with the coaches and therapists at Continuum Fitness to help patients reach their goals effectively and efficiently. Christin has a special interest in the rehabilitation and management of sport and exercise injuries and has extensive elite experience caring for the shoulder and lower back gained as a member of Swimming Canada’s Integrated Support Team, supporting Canada’s national swim team athletes at multiple national and international competitions (2009 - 2020), including the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games. Out of the clinic, Christin is a Ph.D student/researcher in the School of Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa where she studies how our nervous system controls movement. She teaches musculoskeletal anatomy at uOttawa, and pathophysiology, sports massage therapy, and clinical science courses at Algonquin College.
