Originally from Halifax, Alex moved to New Brunswick in 2022. When he was completing his Bachelor of Kinesiology at Dalhousie University, he was involved in the athletic trainer program with the Tigers’ Men’s Hockey team. This experience led him to pursue a career in Athletic Therapy. Alex then graduated from Concordia University in Montreal with a Bachelor of Exercise Science with a Specialization in Athletic Therapy in 2020 and became a Certified Athletic Therapist in 2021. As a former university athlete, Alex’s approach to rehabilitation is all about helping people play the sport or do the physical activity that they love pain-free. Whether the client plays football or is an avid runner, he blends manual therapy with corrective sport-specific exercises that are tailored to each athlete. Each summer Alex spends his weekends on the football field providing care for New Brunswick’s provincial teams. In his spare time, you can find him going for nature walks with his partner Melissa and his corgi Luka, golfing, or playing rec league soccer.
