Bryde is an RMT in good standing with the Massage Therapy Association of Nova Scotia. She is deeply committed to helping others achieve more ease in their minds and bodies and understands that quality of life is a dynamic state that is best managed with a multidimensional approach. While a student in the 2200-hour program at CCMH, Bryde completed specialized clinic hours in both spa and clinical settings. She’s worked with clients living with chronic pain, headaches, joint pain, postural dysfunction, anxiety, stress, vocal tension, COPD, asthma, dysmenorrhea, digestive disorders, and many systemic, chronic, and autoimmune illnesses , as well as clients of all ages, from 6 weeks to 95 years old. A life-long learner and a passionate educator, Bryde provides evidence-based treatments applied through myofascial and Swedish massage techniques, and can prescribe homecare to support clients in their wellbeing through all stages of health and healing. With additional training in mindfulness, meditation, and breathing techniques, Bryde is able to recommend and incorporate these tools into the treatment approach. Prior to massage therapy, Bryde completed the Performance Acting program at Toronto Metropolitan University in 2011, and over 1000 hours of study in the yogic tradition, as well as over 4000 hours of teaching world-wide since 2006. She enjoys deepening her personal practice in creative expression and mindfulness, especially with community, and outside her time at Watershed Wellness she may be taking movement classes, leading vocal workouts, and planning gatherings designed to inspire the imagination and facilitate connection. She is proud to be working alongside the esteemed healthcare professionals at Watershed Wellness to provide outstanding, client-centered care.
