Robin has more than 15 years of coaching in gymnastics, circus, strength and conditioning. He has always been passionate about helping people overcome their physical setbacks and troubleshooting their barriers to progress, which more often than not were injury related. This prompted the professional pivot into massage therapy, where he could more directly focus his energy on helping each individual thrive in the activities they love, despite the inevitable wear and tear of life. His sport training began shortly after walking, when his dad strapped him into skis and pointed him down the bunny run at Cypress. Since then, bouldering, sport climbing and hiking have dominated his free time. His formal training began with gymnastics and trampoline, and over the years has grown to encompass parkour, tricking, breakdancing and martial arts, such as wushu, muay thai, wrestling and jiu jitsu. Robin eventually ran away with the circus, coaching with a focus on ground and partner acrobatics, hand balancing, and teeterboard. Robin loves nothing more than helping people come back from puzzling or long term injuries, and seeing the moment when pain free movement is able to click back into place.
