Vital Physiotherapy & Wellness
734 St. Clair Avenue W., Toronto, ON, M6C 1B3
Amanda is a pelvic health physiotherapist who’s passionate about helping you feel more at home in your body, comfortable, confident, and understood. She takes a whole-person approach to care, looking beyond symptoms to really get to know your story and create meaningful, lasting change that fits your life. Known for her warm and easygoing nature, Amanda creates a space where you can feel safe, supported, and never rushed. She believes conversations about pelvic health should feel normal—not awkward—and meets every client with empathy, respect, and zero judgment. Amanda completed her Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto in 2021 and has continued her training in pelvic health through Pelvic Health Solutions. She began her career in acute care hospitals, supporting people through illness and post-surgical recovery. That experience shaped her strong focus on function, helping you get back to the things that matter most. Over time, her interest in more proactive, holistic care led her to specialize in pelvic health. Outside the clinic, Amanda enjoys slow mornings with a good book, live music around the city, yoga or Pilates classes, and planning her next trip. She values balance and sustainability in her own life, and brings that same mindset into her care, helping you build habits that support your healing, long-term.
During this one-hour appointment your physiotherapist will take a comprehensive medical history and conduct a detailed physical assessment. If you are consulting our clinic for pelvic physiotherapy or Diastasis Recti, an internal pelvic examination will be conducted to determine the current state of the pelvic floor muscles, pelvic girdle joints and pinpoint the cause of your symptoms. Based on the results of your assessment, your therapist will create a personalized treatment plan including a home exercise program.
