Ehren Chang
The Workshop Performance Clinic
2010 Columbia St, Vancouver, BC, V5Y 3E1
Ehren completed both his Master of Science in Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Kinesiology degrees at the University of Toronto. Born and raised in Vancouver, Ehren has been involved in competitive sport from a young age, competing in figure skating for 15 years at both the national and varsity level. During his time in Toronto, he was actively involved within the dragon boat paddling community as a paddler and a coach. Ehren has since become an avid runner. Through his personal experiences with sport and exercise, Ehren has developed a passion for fitness and wellness. He strives to be an ambassador for an active and healthy lifestyle. A significant injury during his figure skating career at the age of 12 was the catalyst that drew him to the rehab world. Having experienced such injuries and setbacks of his own, Ehren has a deeper understanding of the patient perspective. He is curious about each client’s unique life experiences and loves to listen to every story. Whether you are trying to break new limits as an athlete or just hoping to navigate everyday life with more ease, Ehren is excited to hear what you have to say. He approaches treatment by taking what he learns from these stories and applying manual therapy, extensive education, and individualized exercise programming to help clients write the next chapter of their journey. Outside of the clinic, you might find Ehren on a run around the city or spending precious time with his friends and family.
A comprehensive assessment for runners of all levels to reduce injury risk and improve performance. The session includes a thorough movement screen to assess mobility, strength, and functional capacity and a detailed treadmill analysis to identify biomechanical imbalances and inefficiencies in technique. Based on the findings of the assessment, an individualized exercise program, footwear recommendations, and training guidance will be provided.
