Concetta completed a Specialized Honours Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at York University. During her undergraduate degree, she gained experience teaching group classes in Restorative Pilates and also worked as a research assistant in a women’s cardiovascular health lab. She completed her Master of Science degree in Physiotherapy at McMaster University and learned how to treat many conditions among various age groups. She is interested in continuing her education in orthopaedics and pelvic health with a special interest in perinatal care. Concetta practices with a biopsychosocial approach and strives to engage patients as active team players in their care. Her treatment plans are guided by evidence-based practices and combine manual therapy, education and exercise-based approaches. She is committed to working collaboratively with patients to help them achieve their goals and get back to the activities that are most meaningful to them. In her spare time, Concetta enjoys reading, baking and spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys exercising and Pilates.
