She holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master’s of Science degree in Physiotherapy from McMaster University, as well as a Master’s of Science degree in Muscle Physiology with a focus on diabetes from York University. With experience working with diverse populations across various conditions, Maya takes a client-centered, evidence-based approach to rehabilitation. She is passionate about empowering patients through education and promoting self-efficacy, ensuring that each individual feels confident in managing their recovery and overall well-being.
