It’s a true privilege to partner with people through their healing journey and to see them achieve their highest possible level of function. I believe that education in this process is key. By helping people understand their injury and providing tools to remedy symptoms we can see real results. I use a combination of manual therapy, acupuncture, Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS), soft tissue work, and progressive exercise to correct muscle imbalance and restore pain free movement. With over 15 years of experience as a physiotherapist in Vancouver, I focus on treatment that will be effective and tailored specifically to your needs and goals. I keep sessions fun and seek to encourage and motivate my clients to help them see their full physical potential. Through my own injuries in soccer, swimming and snowboarding I have developed a special interest in foot and knee injuries, as well as treating chronic pain. I believe in the importance of lifelong learning and I am regularly furthering my education by taking advanced physiotherapy courses. In my free time I enjoy running, biking and chasing after my son. https://www.sitkaphysio.com/our-team/steve-nairn/
