Courtenay graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria. She completed her Undergraduate Degree in Health Sciences through Thompson Rivers University. Courtenay enjoys working with a wide range of patients including those with chronic pain, sports and everyday injuries, post-surgery, and more. She provides specific, focused treatment using modalities such as Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release therapy. Courtenay was a competitive hammer thrower across Canada and abroad. When not in the clinic, Courtenay enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, traveling, meditating, and volunteering.
During your first appointment, the hands-on portion of the massage will likely be closer to 45-50 minutes. This allows the RMT time to review your health history, assess your areas of concern, develop a treatment plan, obtain your consent, and allow time for reassessment and homecare recommendations at the end of the session.
