Jamie is a motivated manual osteopath and passionate health care professional who holds a strong foundation in science, human movement and holistic wellness. She graduated with Honours from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology. To build on this foundation, she continued her studies with the National Academy of Osteopathy where she developed her manual osteopathy skills and knowledge. With nearly two years of experience working as a Registered Kinesiologist, Jamie developed a deep appreciation for how the body moves, functions, heals, and responds to individualized therapy. This fostered a desire to continue education and advance her practice into osteopathy. Her approach in manual osteopathy is rooted in the idea that no two bodies are the same and hence is motivated to learn the unique needs of every individual and tailors her treatment plans accordingly. She continues to seek up to date knowledge on osteopathy through lifelong learning, driven by her passion for helping people feel their best. From injury prevention, post-injury rehabilitation, chronic pain management, or improving optimal performance, Jamie carries out treatment plans with empathy, manual therapy skills and critical thinking.
