The practitioner uses these deep tissue techniques to facilitate your muscles recovery; Myofascial Release: Practitioner uses little to no oil focusing on the first layer of the skin + muscle. Stretching the fascial layer helps to release stagnant energy and remove tough knots in the body. Trigger Point Therapy: Practitioner uses pressure of a 6 or 7 (out of 10) on a point for 60-90 seconds. The practitioner manipulates muscles around the point to assist in the release of the knot. Cupping Therapy: Practitioner uses glass and plastic cups on a tight area of the body to release muscle tension. The practitioner may drag the cups to allow for greater blood flow depending on the patient's pain scale. Gua Sha Therapy: Practitioner uses a gua sha tool to scrape muscle tension. This flattens out the knots and tension in the body by bringing blood flow to the painful areas. Pressure ranges based on patients pain scale. Mindful Stretching: Practitioner assesses the range of motion of the body and mindfully stretches the muscles. These techniques help improve your body’s flexibility and recovery. Range of Motion: refers to the capability of a muscle’s motion. The practitioner stretches a muscles range of motion in order to improve its flexibility
