Dr. Anita is a licensed naturopathic doctor with over two decades of experience, passionate about guiding people to optimal health. What began as a personal health journey, and a love for learning about health, grew into a lifelong calling: to assist others as they heal not just their bodies, but their whole being. Anita believes that true healing happens when the mind, body, and spirit are treated in harmony. That’s why she meets each person as an individual, not just a protocol. There’s no one-size-fits-all in her practice — she tailors each treatment using a combination of evidence based medicine together with traditonal medicine, to address the unique story that each patient carries. She has a special focus in: Women’s health, Digestive health, Fatigue, stress, mental health, Inflammation, Metabolic Health, Breast health. As a breast cancer survivor and thriver, she brings both empathy and empowerment to women recovering from treatment. Her approach supports not only recovery, but prevention - anchored in her own lived experience and rooted in science. To uncover the roots of illness, Anita will perform physical exams, and use lab testing such as bloodwork, DUTCH adrenal/hormone panels, food sensitivity testing, and gut/stool analyses. Her treatments often include a blend of nutraceuticals, acupuncture, lifestyle and nutrition guidance, homeopathy, and when needed, bio-identical hormones or desiccated thyroid. She is licensed to prescribe in Ontario and certified in First Line Therapy (FLT) for body composition. With a degree in Honours Biochemistry Cooperative from the University of Waterloo and a Naturopathic medical degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Anita brings both scientific precision and deep compassion to her care. She is licensed through the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO) and a proud member of the OAND and CAND. She has always been in awe of the body’s wisdom and innate ability to heal, calling it “the best computer ever invented!” She’s here to help you uncover what healing looks like for you.
