Isabelle (she/her) is a Physiotherapy Resident with the College of Physiotherapist of Ontario. She completed a Bachelor in Science (BSc) of Human Kinetics, followed by a Master of Health Sciences (MHSc) in Physiotherapy, both at the University of Ottawa. During her schooling, she was fortunate to have shadowed and learned from other pelvic health physiotherapist and immediately found an interest for this field. After graduating, she completed postgraduate pelvic health courses to further develop her knowledge and skills in this area. Growing up, being active was always an important part of Isabelle’s life and she kne she wanted a career that reflected this value. Prior to becoming a physiotherapist, she worked with the University of Ottawa’s women varsity soccer team as a student trainer offering prevention and rehabilitation support as well as a strenght and conditioning intern assisting with developing and coaching training programs. It was during this time, Isabelle discovered her passion for helping individuals get back to the activities they enjoy whether that’s a sport, gardening, walking, or their activites of daily living. By using a holistic, evidence-based, and trauma-informed care approach, Isabelle can help you address a wide range of symptoms/conditions. She values understanding all aspects of your life that have been affected and to work together as a team to build a plan to help achieve your goals in a comfortable and safe environment. Isabelle provides her services in English and French
If this is the first time you will be seeing your therapist for this specific ACL injury, our team must conduct a new assessment. This appointment type will allow us the additional time allocation to be thorough. When booking, please book in a few subsequent appointments at the same time, in order to make sure we are able to see you for follow ups in a timely manner.
