Please contact the clinic (250-871-7177) if you have any questions Dustin completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary followed by a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta. Since then he has pursued continuing education in manual therapy, functional dry needling (FDN/IMS), injury prevention screening (SFMA), and is certified with the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), a specialized system for assessing and treating golf related injuries. A former alpine ski racer, he has chosen to work in sports therapy and private practice orthopaedics for most of his career, most notably as the Canadian Men’s Alpine Ski Team physiotherapist from 2013-2016. During this time he travelled the world putting his physiotherapy and ski knowledge to use both on and off the hill and became especially familiar with complex knee injuries. In 2016 Dustin decided to take a step back from travelling with the ski team to spend more time with his family and to relocate from Calgary to Vancouver Island. After starting a physiotherapy clinic on Quadra Island two years ago, with a one-on-one treatment focus, Dustin and his wife Lissa have been excited to bring the same quality care to the Comox Valley. He hopes to contribute to a shift in health care from treatment to prevention and to transfer his passion for the outdoors and sport to his clients.
