I am a Registered Nurse (RN) and a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) specializing in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD). With over 15 years experience in emergency and critical care nursing, my focus is on improving the health and well being of my clients. I completed my certification with the Academy of Lymphatic Studies to perform Complete Decongestive Therapy using the Vodder technique. MLD helps to improve health and quality of life by: relieving sinus congestion, boosting immunity, decreasing pain/inflammation, speeding recovery time, and promoting relaxation.
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of gentle therapy which is intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart.
