A former junior and university hockey athlete who after hockey decided to highly focus on education. Jon completed his undergrad in Physical Education from both University of Ottawa as well Memorial Univeristy of Newfoundland and Labrador. Upon completion of an undergraduate degree Jon went on to pursue a Masters Degree in the science of Kinesiology with world renown exercise scientist Dr. Dave Behm at Memorial University. This experience allowed Jon not only to greatly enhance his education but work along many professionals across the world in various exercise science research capacities. Since finishing his education Jon has been a member of the NLKA for 7 years and has worked along various populations from professional athletes to general population and rehabilitation clients.
