Hello and welcome to Lotus Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, LLC. I am Lauren Wheeler the owner and have been practicing massage therapy for 10 years. I absolutely love what I do, I enjoy helping people to live better lives by getting them out of pain! It brings me so much joy to see people benefit from my work and leave our sessions feeling lighter and happier. A little about me: I have a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. I grew up in Virginia and have lived in Southwest Florida for 13 years, now. I love traveling, art, music, nutrition and nature. When I am not working, I love to take walks outside and enjoy time with friends and family. I have six cats with my partner but we love all animals! I love to learn about the body and how our daily lives affect our soft tissue. There is so much we do that affects our body!
This session begins with oil-free John Barnes myofascial release to gently unwind fascial restrictions and reset the nervous system. Once softened, we transition into massage to ease tension, boost circulation, and support full-body integration. A blend of structure and surrenderfor deep, lasting relief. 60 min is meant to address 1-3 areas, if you are looking for more full body, please book a longer time!
