Brendon has spent more than a decade as a physiotherapist pursuing a single question: how do we move, and what happens when we stop moving well? That work has taken him from national and Olympic-level athletes to gross motor development in infants, and from the performers of Cirque du Soleil to specialized bike fitting and gait analysis. His approach is biomechanical. Rather than treating the site of pain in isolation, Brendon looks for the imbalances underneath it, the root movement dysfunctions that lead to injury, reduced performance and persistent pain. Treatment is multi-modal, drawing on dry needling (IMS), manual therapy, joint mobilizations, shockwave therapy and Graston technique (IASTM). He also uses Anchor Method Training, a method developed in his own practice that builds load tolerance through sustained tension, bracing and deep stability work, capacity that accumulates quietly, well before it becomes obvious. Above all, Brendon works to equip patients to take charge of their own rehabilitation and stay active through every stage of recovery. You decide what you want to do and where you want to go. Your therapist simply teaches you how, whether that means returning to the podium or returning to the trail behind your house.
