Janick graduated from the Sutherland-Chan massage therapy program in 2014. As an RMT, one of her priorities is to ensure that her patients really feel heard and seen. Through her previous background as an actor, yoga instructor and her love of mindful movement, Janick believes that the body is more than flesh, muscles and bones. The nervous system, the breath, the energetic body are all part of the whole. Her goal is to provide a space for her patients to cultivate greater awareness of their bodies. She works with firm but gentle hands, with a keen attention to flow. Some of her favorite techniques are Swedish massage, myofascial release, positional release, trigger point therapy, and buccal massage. A Mama herself, Janick really enjoys working with the pre/post natal population. When you come for a treatment with her, you can expect a massage that will be both effective and relaxing.
