Ottawa born and raised, Dr. Jessica Coady completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Guelph, majoring in Human Kinetics. She then went on to complete her Doctor of Chiropractic at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. During her years of study, she expanded her clinical experience working as a kinesiologist, and also as a sideline first responder in both the junior hockey and Ontario rugby circuits. Dr. Jess has always had a passion for human movement- she believes that all patients should have an active component of their care to truly recover and return to their desired activities. She has passionately continued her education by completing extended training in courses relating to functional movement, assessment and pain management. These include Functional Integrative Acupuncture, Dry Needling, Functional Range Release, Myofascial Release Technique & instrument assisted soft tissue techniques, chronic pain management and postnatal rehab. She also believes in the importance of education and understanding a system or problem to feel more empowered to recover and thrive. “My goal is to put you in the driver’s seat of your care- I’m here as your navigation system and co-pilot.”
Book when you've been referred by your family physician for a pain consult. This includes a 50-60 minute consultation history, in depth physical and movement assessment. A clinical note will then be provided to your referring physician to co-manage or advise on your case.
