My name is Sonia Alese; California Certified Massage Therapist with a degree in Kinesiology & Current college student working towards becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy. I offer Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Therapeutic Massage, Therapeutic/ PNF Stretching, Sports Massage, Cupping Massage, Shiatsu and Prenatal Massage. I believe massage therapy to be one of the most powerful forms of healing; I have personally witnessed the life-changing impact it can have in someone's life. I truly love what I do. There is no typical client; I see people with a large variety of issues: sufferers of muscle pain, joint pain, migraines, stress, herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, sciatica, athletic and work injuries, multiple sclerosis, and many more issues. Massage
Smooth stones are heated and then lubricated with oil or essential oils, the therapeutic effects of heat are used to relax muscles more deeply. Used as an extension of the therapist’s hands, the use of massage stones induces deep relaxation and provides a unique experience many find to be tremendously calming and centering.
Lymphatic Drainage
Lymphatic Drainage is intended to help those who have issues with fluid build up and/or swelling issues, lymphadema, past cancer where lymph nodes were removed or damaged from chemo, or someone who has had a recent surgery or major injury and continued fluid retention. This massage is very light, as I am only working to move the fluid just under the skin to "pump"into lymph nodes.
