Growing up in Bay Roberts, Darcy developed a passion for sports during his youth. He has dedicated his career to helping individuals improve their performance through all types of movement & exercises. He got his Bachelor of Kinesiology from Memorial University in 2021 and his Master of Sports Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh in 2024. He is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist and has completed KILO strength coach training, with additional certifications under his belt. In Pittsburgh, Darcy learned about how to handle injuries to the musculoskeletal system, taught Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics, and was a Student Team Manager for the University of Pittsburgh’s NCAA women’s softball team. Darcy is thrilled to join the team at Ascend and to continue supporting athletes and individuals at all levels in their pursuit of improvement to achieve their full potential.
