Dr. Gaelan Connell was born and raised in the lower mainland and earned his Human Kinetics undergraduate degree and Masters in Rehabilitation Science degree from the University of British Columbia (UBC). He obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto with clinic honours and academic honours (Magna Cum Laude). Dr. Gaelan also works as a part-time Research Associate at Ontario Tech University. He has given lectures at various chiropractic colleges and chiropractic conferences. Dr. Gaelan volunteers as a peer-reviewer for the Journal of the Canadian Chiropractic Association. He is also a published author in several peer-reviewed scientific journals and continues to use evidence-based protocols in his daily practice. Dr. Gaelan has trained in Active Release Technique (A.R.T.), Myofascial Release Technique (M.R.T.), Graston Technique, low-level laser therapy, shockwave therapy, gait analysis and orthotic foot therapy. He has also completed training in chronic pain management by Pain BC and San’yas Indigenous Cultural Safety Training. He treats a wide variety of acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries. Every patient is treated with a unique plan of care that is tailored to meet their needs. Dr. Gaelan’s purpose as a chiropractor is to use his clinical skills and knowledge to help people reach their health goals. Dr. Gaelan is a proud member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association, BC Chiropractic Association, and College of Chiropractors of BC. He is passionate about long-distance running, cycling, hiking, soccer, canoeing, and kayaking. He has completed several trail ultra-marathons over the past decade and loves spending time with his wife and kids.
