Hello I’m Sophie, originally from the UK and currently living the dream in Whistler for the last 7 years… can I call myself a local yet? Massage came into my life 17 years ago, and I’ve been fortunate enough to travel the world while working as a massage therapist. When I arrived in Canada, I went back to school to transfer my skills and earn my RMT license. To me, massage is about creating a space where patients can truly land — into the treatment, into their bodies, and into a deeper sense of ease. I use breath, slow and intentional techniques, and always work with the body rather than against it. I also incorporate stretching and fascial work to help the muscles move and glide more freely, so you leave feeling better than when you arrived. Recently, I’ve been exploring visceral and craniosacral work, and I’m currently completing a two-year Biodynamic Fascial Integration program, finishing in 2027. I genuinely love learning and continuing to expand my practice. When I’m not working, I’m loving life with my husband and our kitties. In the winter, you’ll find me on Whistler Mountain, and in the summer, in the lakes. I’m also an avid board game competitor… and I always win — just ask my husband.
