(she/hers) Originally from Germany, I graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2006 and have experience treating various conditions and pathologies. For over a decade, I have also been extensively involved in teaching massage therapy and instructing in student clinics. During a period of extensive and repeated surgeries due to skin cancer, I realized how invaluable MLD treatment is not just pre and post-surgery but also in the management of tissue health and scarring thereafter. This led me to travel to Austria’s Vodder Academy to become certified in MANUAL LYMPH DRAINAGE AND COMBINED DECONGESTIVE THERAPY. I am very interested in scar management and have also taken continued training in scar treatment and burn scar massage. I support clients with edema prevention/management, pre/post-surgery, including gender-affirming surgery. I have experience treating spinal cord injuries and other CNS conditions. Please be aware that ou I provide a trauma-informed, LGBTQ-friendly and Trans Safe space. Please note that our office is on the 18th floor with two gendered washrooms. 1h appointment that includes an assessment, treatment using Swedish techniques and advanced manual therapy techniques, reassessment and remedial exercise as necessary.
Lymphatic Drainage
In this first appointment at Flow, your therapist will go through your health history with you and do an intake interview where we get to know your current health status and goals. Pictures and measurements may be taken and added to your file. A treatment plan will be developed with you and informed consent will be obtained. You will receive your first lymphatic massage in this appointment.
